Hello, I am Engin.

In my current role as the sole UX/UI designer at Bonhams, I have led the redesign of essential digital experiences, including the homepage, services page, and sold lot pages. I also maintain and improve the existing design system. I work closely with business analysts, software developers, and stakeholders to design user journeys that meet business needs and user expectations.

 

Before moving into UX, I set up my own company and served clients who are based in the UK and Turkey. I provided support in HR, business operations, and digital media. I started my professional journey as a financial auditor in where I developed a robust sense of empathy for clients through making the effort to understand what matters to them. I learned that having an open mind to the possibilities in every idea is indispensable. These skills still influence my design approach today.

 

I have always enjoyed engaging both the creative and analytical parts of my brain, and in UX Design I have found the perfect way to combine the two. My desire to solve problems has not changed. In my work as a UX designer, I also bring my prior professional experiences with me, such as in empathetic engagement, attention to detail, and knowledge of working with and for clients in a range of sectors . These are all critical for making intuitive and effective user experiences.
